The TEFL course here in Buenos Aires is amazingly wide in content, it is really effective in delivering a big amount of information in a short period of time. I had a marvellous experience with my TEFL Trainer, she is highly prepared and was extremely engaging in every lesson. I would like to emphasize my satisfaction with the TEFL Trainer of my course here in Buenos Aires and the excellent content of this TEFL certification.

I loved the TEFL course, it was a great opportunity. Most certainly I will use so many things from the course. Both the teaching practice sessions and the observations were great.

GUATEMALA

The destination
Think colourful culture!

Guatemala is one of the most bio-diverse and historically significant countries in Central America. Because of its shape, the country is bordered by four different countries—Mexico to the north, Belize to the northeast, and Honduras and El Salvador to the southeast; as well as reaching the Pacific and the Caribbean.
The country’s abundance of biologically unique ecosystems makes the entire MesoAmerican region a biodiversity hotspot. Guatemala offers a plethora of sites to see including Lake Atitlán, Tikal, the jungle, and the Pacific coast.

Our partner’s school is located in La Antigua, the most popular destination in the country for both tourists and Guatemalans alike. The city is famous for its well- preserved colonial architecture and spectacular ruins, so much so that the entire city is designated an UNESCO World Heritage Site by the United Nations.

As Antigua is a major destination for both international and local visitors, the government has made great efforts to ensure safety and a special “tourist police” force is deployed around the city, making Antigua the safest place in Guatemala. Guatemala honestly has the best tacos we have ever tried. Seriously. They are lifechanging!

Where will you start your teaching adventure?

Antigua
The main building at Guatemala is a peaceful home base in the heart of Antigua. It’s a beautifully restored colonial building with a central garden and fountain for students to enjoy. There is also a second building, just a half-block away, with an incredible view of the city from its rooftop terrace along with plenty of study space to enjoy the fresh air and sunshine. The Central Park is the heart of Antigua and it’s always bustling with locals and international visitors all year-round. The town is most famous for its well-preserved architecture, cobblestone streets, and colonial ruins – so much so that the entire city has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Antigua also offers a wide variety of great restaurants and an active night life.
